Cardboard Thermoformer

FRIMAQ in its aim of reducing the use of plastic materials and encouraging recycling has designed a new machine, which is able to produce cardboard trays from a reel. This will accomplish our customer’s expectations in the packaging of their products using 80% less of plastic.

With this unit, Frimaq has developed a system with which from a virgin cardboard coil, the desired shape and size of the tray is punched out. Subsequently, the die-cut cardboard is pressed against a mould, which shapes it, and then a thin layer of plastic film is superimposed creating a watertight and valid tray for packaging any product.
